About Jacqueline Goldstein
Welcome, Gentle Readers!
I'm Jacqueline Grandsire Goldstein, born and raised in the Bronx, New York, where I taught high school English for 25 years. I loved teaching, and loved the wonderful students I had the honor of serving. The Bronx has fabulous pizza, and I really enjoyed giving pizza parties to the students to celebrate the life of my favorite author, Jane Austen. I attended Our Lady of Mercy Grammar School and The Academy of Mt. St. Ursula.
I am also an alumna of Fordham University and The Writing Institute of Sarah Lawrence College. Before my wonderful publisher, Black Opal Books, published Ms. Murphy's Makeover, you may have seen my writing in The New York Times, The Westchester Review, and The Examiner. The mother of two adult daughters, I live with my husband in Westchester, New York.
To learn more about me, please check out an interview by Judy Abelove Shemtov for The Good Book Corner. Judy, a teacher from Scarsdale NY, found my book in the local library and e-mailed me. Get another teacher's take on Ms. Murphy's Makeover at The Good Book Corner.
I invite you to find me on Facebook as Jacqueline Goldstein Author, and follow me on Twitter @jacquigoldstein. I enjoy talking to book clubs about Ms. Murphy's Makeover, and can be contacted at author@jacquelinegoldstein.com
